In May of 2016 I jumpstarted a GoFundMe campaign called The Elephant Project which consequentially gave birth to an independent theatre initiative of the same name. The goal of the project was to raise money and support for, market, and independently produce the play ELEPHANT'S GRAVEYARD by George Brant - a true story that details the only known lynching of an elephant. A year of networking and fundraising culminated with us raising nearly $3,000 dollars for our production through crowdfunding alone. In May of 2017 the show ran for two weekends at The Village Theatre in Davenport, IA and received critical acclaim.
